Background
Project three was essentially an extended annotated bibliography. In my project I display one book source and two internet sources. I explore questions pertaining to success in foreign language and how this success is achieved. Within each paragraph I forward the source, counter the source, and connect the source to a different source. In addition, I look to extend the author's writing from source to source. Joseph Harris defines the goal of forwarding by saying, "The goal is not to have the final work on a subject, to bring the discussion to a close, but to push it forward, to say something new," He defines countering as, "not simply to oppose a text, but to supplement it, to view its account of a subject as "partial." Both forwarding and countering are major elements of my project three and I hope you enjoy!
